About BizFantast (Part 2)

The website concept would be simple -- Just provide the players with a riddle, and they will solve it by entering the URL of the correct answer -- something I learnt from playing the Wicked (and others say NotPron), I decided I am going to be different.

I always think that URL-based puzzle will become a nuisance when you play for more than 20 levels, as the browsing history on your browser will grow irritatingly long. Remembering the site becomes something very essential, yet mundane (plus frustrating, some might add on). So, I wanted to make everything automated.

I thought that puzzle controlling is important as well, as many have suggested that one might accidentally access a more advanced level accidentally while attempting an earlier level. So, I am going to force the players of my puzzle to start from the first level onwards. *Evil grin* =D

Now that the basic structure of the puzzle system has been defined, I was ready to go. The coding portion of the system was a piece of cake to me, I write programs professionally, so it took me just about 2 days to get the codes ready. It was the puzzles that gave me the headaches -- Where the hell am I supposed to find so many puzzles? Luckily, I found my source almost instantly.

I was a fan of the bestseller "Da Vinci Code", and the book itself was so full of ciphered message and ancient mysteries that I almost based 80% of my earlier levels on it. I was lucky enough to find out even more source of information from the Internet, as I began touching on subjects that I was not normally interested at, the range of puzzles that I was able to create widen suddenly.

Puzzles are not for the wicked mind only, that is something I have always been insisting. That is why I have always created puzzles based on logical thinking only -- i.e. I tried my best not to involve any guessing in the answers. I improved myself as a puzzler in the process of creating puzzles, which in my opinion, resulted in me creating tougher puzzles than before. :)
